The winner was owned by Mr J L Bouchard and the Niarchos Family, bred in France by Stavros Niarchos, trained by Pascal Bari at Chantilly, and ridden by Cash Asmussen. The winner won by 4 1/2 lengths in 2 minutes 44.3 seconds, with a length between second and third.
